Click to embiggen. Sorry it's in two halves, but they took away the software that attaches 2 pics together. :/

Okay, it took me a stupidly long time to work out the joke, but that is brilliant!

Yeah, it only took me 7 months after the episode to say, "Waiiiiiiiiit..."

I don't know how you feel about self-insert RPF, but if you want to read J.M. Barrie's* "Me and Arthur Conan Doyle go and visit Holmes and Watson" self-insert RPF, it's here!

*Yes, the Peter Pan one.

As an astronomy nerd, that has been bugging me for months. We need to send your comic to Gatiss as a hint that future episodes should be astronomically correct.

Oh, I'm quite sure he knows the difference. Weekends, he takes his star yacht out for a cruise and fires up a nova or three, trying to make a nebula in the likeness of his husband for an upcoming anniversary gift.

Good point ... it's John who doesn't know the difference, not Gatiss.

I'm reading Hitchhiker again right now, so my first thought when I read your reply was, I wonder if Gatiss would let me hitch a ride some time.

Haha! What amy_wolf said: That is brilliant!

God, I love your coloring - and that up-close, shadowy Sherlock is spot on. And and and.. John's dreaming of Parkas! ♥ ♥ ♥

Haha! That is hilarious. I must admit, I hadn't even thought of that before you wrote this comic. :-)

This is brilliant, through and through! I mean, really brilliant! From the concept, to John's dreams and the little hearts in them, to the sound that the door is making--and finally Sherlock's outline. How can an outline be so evocative? It can.:)

And as soon as I heard the "A little knowldege of the Solar System..." line, I was like "What? What does a supernova have to do with the bleeding Solar System?" I let it pass, interpreting that John meant a little knowledge of space in general, but after your comic I'm like "Wheeeeeaaaayyyy! Hell yeah!":D

I was kinda shocked at the silhouette myself. I was going for something a bit more cartoony, with evil glowing eyes, but it came out a lot straighter. Worked better, too.

It's all a matter of finding your own personal happiness. For some people, it's explosions, vigilante justice, and dorky sweaters.
