Pen doodle. Gotta love that 70s faux-Bob Mackie.

Wow, beautiful. I admire your ability to use a pen and not create some messy monster thing... Clean is NOT my middle name. ;)

Who is she, btw? Besides being Maya, that is.

Trouble with smudgies? Try putting a shitajiki (or whatever) under your hand while you work. You won't pick up tracks and it won't smudge your piccy.

Maya is Maya!

Is it is as stupid as it looks? You betcha! It's also bizarrely likeable and watchable - though it would've been better if the Andersons had just stuck to their puppets.

Martin Landau??? O_O Whoa nelly.

Hum, I'm not to bad with smudgies, I just don't have the ability to draw 'clean'. My drawings are always a mess of construction lines and whatnot. Which is why I rarely post un-inked sketches. They're a jumble, literally.

How do you keep doing this stuff?

You're amazing. Have you learned to do everything else in your life, one handed so you can keep drawing with the other? "Okay, sifting two cups of flour... now let's draw the hair. Add one teaspoon of salt. Gotta get those eyes done right..."

Breakfast. You can get a lot done over breakfast. And watching TV.

WOW! I haven't seen that show in years, thank God, but I alway kinda liked Maya. She looked pretty cool - except for the warts as eyebrows.

You're sketch of her brings back what I liked about her. Cool.

It's lovely. How on earth do you actually do something like this. It's brilliant. It's a little sketchy and rough but maintains a certain glow. If only I could do something reasonably neat with a pen(or a pencil) for a change. You should see my pencil drawings just before I ink them. You just see a mass of lines.
I know what you mean by getting a lot done while watching television or during breakfast. I do that most of the time... okay.. not during breakfast mainly cause i normally have to be out of the house really early. Ah... but while waiting for dinner when eating out or while queing up for stuff... that's the time.
Just wondering... are you ambidextrous? Maybe that's why you get so much done in such a short period

My pencil drawings look like...somebody'll come up and say, "Oh, nice horse!" "It's a fairy!" "It is?"

This thing's really just a black-and-white drawing in different colors. The inks do a lot for it.

Nah, not ambidextrous, just a plain ol' righty. Sometimes I use my left hand for Psychotic Lettering or signing notes from the dog, but that's it.
