I'm so like Homer!

Bummer: Depressed most of the weekend.
Non-bummer: Got a lot of reading done.
Bummer: Unit feeling pokey from new meds, did not want to go to movies.
Non-bummer: Still spared the horror of Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. If this keeps up, we'll give a miss altogether and go straight to MIB2.
Odd: Unit checked paper to see where Lord of the Rings is still playing. This would mean an all-time record third viewing of a theatrical release, blowing past previous champs Jawsand Space Cowboys.
Shoppy: Rubber-stamp store. Nifty tiny stamp of a tassle, and some more sheets of postage paper. Starburst orange pops - fabulous.
Art: Stamped sheet of stamps, more work on MediaWest book.
Read: Phoenix: A Tale of the Future, Peach Girl 4, Doomsday Book, started Three Men in a Boat. Phoenix is groovetastic, sort of what you'd get if Ub Iwerks and Steve Ditko got espresso'd up and made a 200-page comic. Peach Girl continues apace, the main character slowly getting smarter. Doomsday Book is keen as ever.
TV: There's bloody nothing on.
Cook: Cinny bread in the breadmaker. Strange mix, with little bombs of solid cinnamon. Good with butter.

You are the second youngest and perkiest member of the band. You are optimistic and cheerful, cautious and charming. You love Hollywood musicals, dancing, and surf music, but hate peer pressure, sudden change, and anything really avant garde. You left the band in 1969 after your sister married your ex-fiance and went on to launch a solo career, only coming back when your sister left the band. Over the years, you were romantically involved with Davy Jones, Paul McCartney, Prince Charles, and your own true love, David McCallum. You're the greatest female bassist the world has ever known— you are Sandy Ludlow!

I found a used copy of the White Wolf* In Nomine** rulebook, and am using it to make an altered book. I was working on a page last night and realized that the illustration of the Archangel Michael was swiped from an old photo of Michael Praed as Robin Hood. Had the hair and the sword and everything. Fucker's haunting me, I swear.

*EDIT: I'm full of shit. It's a Steve Jackson Games game.
**Role-playing game involving Angels and Demons. Hardcover, with hilarious Bible-white pleather binding and red foil stamping.
