Painting and varnishing nutcrackers. This is actually much less exciting than it sounds.

There was a booth at a renfaire once with novelty nutcrackers (why not)... They had Hitler, Stalin and Churchill 'crackers.

It was SO TEMPTING.

Sweet! Somehow, Hitler seems born to be a nutcracker. Susan gave me a gozinta doll of Russian leaders, and Stalin's in there somewhere, but he's all rolly and friendly.

We just got a catalogue featuring soldier-crackers with enormous domed helmets that would make excellent alien heads.

Alien nutcrackers are a golden, golden idea. A combination made in heaven: aliens and nuts.

Really? Because it sounds pretty exciting to the girl who has to go to school for the next 6 and a half hours. And fail a german test.

There's a bit of artistic conflict in our house, since the Unit likes the Olde Worlde stuff, but the person who's actually doing all the painting prefers robot monsters.

If you think sneaking horse pills into the llama's kibble will quell my vigor,
you got another *thunk* coming, shovel-wielder...
Ply your magico-cures upon Felarof or Shadowfax, I am made of sterner stuff! (sorta)
