Saw a chunk of X-Men last night. It's gonna be one of those movies that everybody likes but me, isn't it? Something really creepy and repulsive about the whole thing, starting with the pubic hair glued to Wolverine's face. There's something really wrong with any X-adaptation where I like Cyclops best, y'know?

I saw it twice in the theatre strictly out of loyalty to the comics, and wasn't impressed either time. The one scene that really made it for me was the opening one, with Young Magneto As He Puts The Smack Down.

Kind of doing the hopeful thing for X2. Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler is weird, but compared to the rest of the cast, it's a good weird.
