Saw a chunk of X-Men last night. It's gonna be one of those movies that everybody likes but me, isn't it? Something really creepy and repulsive about the whole thing, starting with the pubic hair glued to Wolverine's face. There's something really wrong with any X-adaptation where I like Cyclops best, y'know?

Didn't like it either, though this may be owing to the fact that I can't watch more than two seconds of Anna Paquin without wanting to slap her. I don't have a good reason for it, either--she just hits me in this really nasty, ugly place.

In our society so obsessed with this perfect ideal of beauty... how did this goony looking girl with bad teeth ever get this far? I loved 25th Hour---it was a really good flick---but every time she came on screen, and this teacher was lusting after her, I kept yelling "WHY???"
