phosfate: Ouroboros painting closeup (friday)

At work, they upgraded my OS yesterday, and appear to have taken out all the documents on my hard drive. Including all my pictures.

At home, Frankensybill appears to have contracted some sort of self-replicating, space-eating worm.

I am not happy at all.

Microsoft offers free support for virus-afflicted computers. My recommendations, if you are interested:

Find out what worm you've got - if it's hamstrung your anti-virus, you can go to http://housecall.antivirus.com and have their web-based virus-scanner give you the once-over.

Remove the worm if you can, then call 1-800-936-5700, navigate the torturous phone menu (it's the paid support line, but you don't have to feed it a credit card), and get in touch with us here at Unimatrix Redmond so we can see about patching you up.

Thank you!

I'm not sure if I can do the online scan. Whatever it is freezes AOL soon after it signs on. I downloaded a thingie of viruslist.com to a disk this morning, and I'm hoping I can run it offline at home. I hope.
