Stayed home Friday afternoon with Mom, who was all coughy from the Pancake Death Cloud (she's fine).

Saturday went to a rubber stamp convention. No I'm not high. It was at the Lancaster County Events Center, which is basically a giant animal shed out on the highway. It was just like an SF convention, but with...yeah. Compere had to consult her notes every time she read an announcement: "Good morning...Lincoln...Nebraska!" Stamping housewives in a dealers room are as vicious as SF fans, but they do smell better. Lots of dealers, with designs from the deeply weird to the Bible-reading teddy bears. No points for guessing which dealers I frequented the most. Also, lots and lots of unmounted stamps for tiny amounts of money. Yayness. Lasted about two hours before the hot dog smell drove me out.

You like the rubber stamps? I like the rubber stamps, too!!! I have a smallish collection of fine stampage from Inkadinkadoo; when I was in high school, the stamp love was kind of at the peak (I got to meet the lady who started Inkadinkadoo at a Girl Scout Let's-Empower-High-School-Girls-To-Do-Stuff event). But conventions? I knew no such thing! Cool!

Oh, man, I used to mail order from them years ago. They're keen.

Also like to carve the stampses.
