Have decided that my recent spate of sleeping 15 hours a day when allowed is not a good thing, and am attempting to cut my Zoloft by 25%. (This figure arrived at because I take two pills which are scored down the middle.) After an afternoon of feeling rather crawly and awful, yet unable to nap (I read), I am now coming off a few hours of being very very awake. With luck this will wear off completely around 11:00 p.m.

Mom's birthday tomorrow. I long ago mastered the ability to keep it from being traumatic and awful, and now occasionally even manage to make it an occasion she enjoys. Learning that she really digs the grocery store bakery's white cake with the fake icing was definitely a step forward.

There's even the outside possibility it's time to give the stuff up, but cutting it off cold turkey would be very bad.

Have I ever got a story to confirm that!!!!

I'm betting there's a lot of twitching and crying involved.

Oh, is there ever! Let's see... moods changing like every five minutes (no, really, every five minutes), weird dizzy-spinny-lightheaded feeling with movement, weird reactions from people... what fun! The culmination of that week was me waiting for three hours in the cold/snow while my friends went to see Pulp Fiction which I, for some reason, refused to go into because I got angry for some really dumb reason, like I wasn't spoken to with a gentle-enough tone of voice or something.
