Have decided that my recent spate of sleeping 15 hours a day when allowed is not a good thing, and am attempting to cut my Zoloft by 25%. (This figure arrived at because I take two pills which are scored down the middle.) After an afternoon of feeling rather crawly and awful, yet unable to nap (I read), I am now coming off a few hours of being very very awake. With luck this will wear off completely around 11:00 p.m.

Mom's birthday tomorrow. I long ago mastered the ability to keep it from being traumatic and awful, and now occasionally even manage to make it an occasion she enjoys. Learning that she really digs the grocery store bakery's white cake with the fake icing was definitely a step forward.

For some reason, Zoloft never made me massive sleepy. Or maybe I never noticed because not being a morning person, I'm never wakey-wakey in the a.m. On the other hand, I only get about 6 hours sleep a night unless it's the weekend. On the weekends, I never get out of bed before 9 or 10. The one thing it did do was make me gain weight which supposedly it's doesn't do. Supposedly.

I have managed to go down from 2 tablets a day to one. I can't imagine going cold turkey. I did for about 3 days, and had a meltdown. I was also physically sick and felt dizzy and like the world was unlevel. Not going down that rabbit hole again.

It didn't until recently, which is why I'm thinking an adjustment is in order. I have no problem with sleeping late, just not sleeping all! the! time!
