I would like to declare Operation Anthy is a Great Big Weirdo Who Keeps Snails in Her Pencil Box (aka Ann's attempt at cutting her Zoloft dosage) a spectacular, Soviet space program-style failure. The experiment is now concluded.

Yep.

I remember *twitch*. The best part was when it progressed to fullblown seizures.

Yeah. Rare side effect, though not as rare as they thought. SSRIs in general were new enough at the time that they didn't know to attribute what happened to that, and they sent me in to look for brain tumours.

Amusingly, this is how I met my partner -- he came to visit, after four years of email correspondence and no indication that we'd get together, on the grounds that it might have been cancer and therefore the last chance.

That's...I'm torn between romantic and deeply strange.

Certainly an excellent answer for "So...how did you two meet?"

Mwahahahahaha!!!!

What I love is that, after the dissolving dress incident, Anthy passively-aggressively tortures Nanami throughout the rest of the series. You so don't want to mess with that girl.

I think Anthy knows Totoro and got him on Nanami's ass.

Nanami didn't get half the kicking she deserved.

Cutting down on dosages does strange things to me, too. It was literally years before I could give up medication.

Hehe. I loved that scene in Utena. I agree, messing with Anthy has an amazing tendency to be a bad idea.

At least when he asks me this afternoon if I've tried cutting down, I can say YES YOU ASSHOLE! and grab him by the throat.

Note to Dr Coffman: I will not actually do that. Relax.

DON'T YOU HURT DR COFFMAN!

He's a nice fella, apart from the ugly-ass owl picture in his waiting room.

Oh man. I actually found the same picture in a Salvation Army last year and thought about grabbing it, but it scared me. I will try to get a good look at him this afternoon.

That's a big bust on the owl

There was a woman sitting directly beneath the owl. Considering that this was a psychiatrist's office, it didn't seem like invading her personal space or looking in her direction for a sustained period was a good idea. So no owl drawing.

Oh, if only someone had been there to massage them somehow!
