Yeah, Steve. Ahab finally comes out of his cabin. Ishmael admires his ivory leg. Ahab verbally abuses and kicks Stubb, or possibly Steve, who has bad dreams as a result but decides that being kicked with an ivory leg is a positive thing. Somehow. Ishmael tells us all about whales, but disputes the notion that whales are not fish. Ann skips more pages. Ishmael likes the weather.

Aaaaahahaha! Yes. This is how it starts -- a few pages here and there, and before you know it, you've somehow lost the book under the sofa. I always *want* to like reading this book.
