Yay! I found another old IBM manual box. (For those of you who are two young, IBM/Microsoft/etc. used to pack their software manuals in really nice linen-covered slipcases, often with matching 3-ring binders.) I can make another DVD slipcase. This one looks like it will hold three or four.

Not as-is. You'll need a utility knife and glue. But they're solid, take paint and collage like crazy, and beat trying to figure out how to make boxes from scratch.

You can also, if you prefer, cut them down small and have a four-sided holder rather than make a five-sided box.

Oh nerts, I wish I'd known you were looking for those. I just dumped some a few months ago. I thought they were very nice too but figured I'd never get around to doing anything with them. D'oh!

Aw, bless. No, they're a huge pain in the ass to deal with, and not useful unless you want to hack them up, or have something that needs protection (e.g., a big-ass fat sketchbook) that happens to be exactly the right size.

At least I'm getting my cubicle cleaned out.
