I can't help but notice the huge spike in the number of brushes with death on my flist this morning.

I really think it's best that you all stay inside with the curtains closed until it's time to go out and vote on Tuesday.

I couldn't for the life of me figure out why the wheel wasn't turning, or why the brake wasn't working.

As per your instructions (I can't even type that with a straight face) I will stay inside. Of course, I'll be cleaning, so my safety might be compromised. Heh.

Hmmm. It *has* been rainy and lightning stormy this week... (Not that the lightning ever touches anything--or if it does the news doesn't catch it.)

Does it count if my brush with death is that I just had to wrestle my Fist of Death to the ground so that it would not smite the ignorant and useless?
