Date: 2006-03-23 06:47 pm (UTC)My alarm makes fake-sounding electronic versions of New Age-y chimes and flutes and stuff. Not terrible, but, no, Mr. New Age Alarm, I *don't* need the volume to increase with each repetition. I just can't move that fast.
So birdies might be a pleasant change.
Also, the current alarm clock has a "sample" button to play all the alarms. It cannot be deactivated and so the cat activates it occasionally (by accident) when she walks on the clock. My old kitty, Lovebug, started to do that by accident. Then she would do it deliberately so that I would get up and (eventually) feed her.
