Been enjoying Ellie's Terry Pratchett characters in her sketchblog, and decided to baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! sorry try my own, since I'm reading Thief of Time. Here's Miss Susan and the Death of Rats:

She doesn't actually wear glasses, but I thought they might give her something to assist in staring meaningfully at her students.

If you've never read Mr Pratchett's work, do give it a try. The Discworld series is comic fantasy for people who find comic fantasy loathesome (no feghoots here!), and a very long fantasy series for people who utterly despise very long fantasy series.

I...erm...it's been so long since I read it, I can't say. I know it ended...

Is your Vimes online anywhere? I'd love to see him.

It was a weird book (what? Discworld books weird?? Perish the thought! >:)), and I just didn't get the ending... *shrug*

Oh, my Vimes is here: http://www.iprimus.ca/~dnhicks/vimes.JPG
I've had... many complaints about this picture. "He looks good, but do this, and this, and in THIS part of the book THIS happens and it doesn't look like how *I* thought he'd look..."
Oy. *rubs temples*
It's MY interpretation, silly Elfwood people! >:)

I think that's a common problem with doing written-based fanart, tho. There's no real visual to go on, beyond your imagination.

Oh btw, my brother really liked that 'patriotic Scully doppleganger' drawing you did a while back.

Him: "What's that?"
Me: "Scully!"
Then he got this really stupid/happy expression on his face and wandered away going "Yeah! Scully!"

I don't understand teenagers. O_o

I didn't understand them even when I was one, but tell him thank you from me.
