"Three Quick PR Thoughts for Amazon" which, so far, they've totally failed to take up, even though they're screamingly obvious to the rest of us.

Amazonfail bingo squares collected this morning alone:

--It was an outside hack.
--They wouldn't do this, they're Seattle geeks just like us!
--You're overreacting.
--Internet mob!
--Lynch mob!
--Stop whining.
--I'm GLAD they're protecting me from gay content.
--It's just a bunch of porn.
--They couldn't fix it/react to it, it's Easter!
--This just shows that Twitter is evil.
--It's SCARY how mobs of people can HURT a company like this.

Well obviously censoring Lady Chatterly's Lover and The Sexual Politics of Disability (which isn't specifically gay) makes everything okay! Going after gay and transgendered people is fine if you also go after feminists and disability rights activists and people who think serious literature can include sex and swear words, right?
