"Gateau" is French for "cake." It is a local restaurant - we may even have eaten there once.
I noticed this visit that, apparently out of self-defense, they have been forced to add a "Green Gateau" to the dessert menu. But we all got cheesecake.
But not alliterative. Remember, we're talking about the land of Herbie Husker here...
The Green Gateau itself was a small slice of cake with white dribbly icing, the icing in turn slightly marbelized with green. The actual flavor(s) remain a mystery. There are things Ann was not meant to know.
