I learned that for the past 40 years, I have been holding my fork incorrectly. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to anyone I have ever eaten with.

Wool felt (not crappy craft felt) is lovely to work with. I made a red-and-gold ball last night (it will eventually be a Soviet satellite) using a pattern from an old Dover book. It's as round as round can be. I can make a Gema when I've found the right yellow.

Finished Hello Treebeard. Mom said, "Is that the log that the Log Lady carries around?" "Yes. Yes, it is."

Hm. Log...

i wish very much that you would post pictures of these wonderful exciting things you make. have you made any plushie ringwraiths? i would kill to see a plushie of him. It would embarass him immensely, and for a very long time, that was one of my main occupations in life. ::Snickers.::

And now I will run, just in case he heard me say so. ::winces.::

I'm photographing them, but the rolls take friggin' forever to fill up. Expect a clot of 20-30 pictures at some vague point in the future.

I've considered a Wraithie several times, but can't quite figure out how to make it interesting yet. Watch this space.
